Managing Difficult Vintages Seminar Proceedings

It took us a while but attendees who registered for the Managing Difficult Vintages Seminar can now look forward to receiving the proceedings on CD-ROM by mail in mid-March. Conference participants will receive a copy of the proceedings as part of their registration costs. The proceedings will also be available for purchase through ASVO website.

A tribute to Bryce Rankine

Long-serving Australian wine researcher and educator, Bryce Rankine, has died in Adelaide, aged 87. Born in Murray Bridge, South Australia, in 1925, Rankine began his career in the wine industry in 1950 as a research officer in the Oenological Investigations Section of CSIRO at the Waite Agricultural Research Institute in Adelaide.
